Information You Provide
The calculator does not ask you to create an account. You enter figures such as labor hours, cost per hour, materials, overhead, margin, discount, and tax to produce pricing results. These values are used only to calculate results on your own screen. They are not saved to any server database and are not intentionally transmitted to the website owner. Except for presets you deliberately save (see below), entries are cleared when you close or reload the page.
Saved Presets and localStorage
If you choose to save a pricing preset, the calculator stores it using your browser’s localStorage feature. localStorage keeps small amounts of data on your own device only. Saved presets are not sent to the website owner or to any server, and they are not shared between devices or browsers. You can remove a single preset with its Delete button, remove all presets with “Clear all saved presets,” or clear your browser’s site data. If your browser blocks or disables localStorage, saving is unavailable and the calculator still works normally.
Information Received Automatically by Our Host
Requesting any web page necessarily sends certain technical information to the server that delivers it. Our hosting provider may therefore receive and log your IP address, browser type and operating system, the pages you request, the date and time of each request, and the referring page if your browser sends one. These server logs are created and controlled by the hosting provider and are standard for web hosting. They are separate from the calculator itself, which sends nothing.
Cookies, Advertising, and Third-Party Scripts
This website uses Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google, loaded from Google’s servers. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and, where enabled, to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
